Jackson: "The Wrapper"
O.kay.....I had to put this on my blog. This is my cousin Brooke's little boy, Jackson. At the luncheon after our grandpa's funeral, there were some Dove chocolate's to snack on. Jackson decided to where the wrapper's on his face. We really had him going and I think my cousin was really embarrassed. Jon almost got him to poor a glass of water on top of his head. We told Brooke that he shoulod go as a "wrapper" for Halloween.

On September 20th, we laid my Grandfather in his final resting place. It was such a beautiful day. Instead of doing an actual funeral, we just did a viewing and a simple graveside service. For the graveside service, we were invited to take a few minutes and share some stories and fun memories. I think there as more laughing than crying because we all had a lot of wonderful, fun memories of Grandpa. However, it was a wonderful chance for us to be together as family and friends an enjoy each other's company.

Grandpa
Sally, Grandpa Fenstermaker, and Sally's mom, Gail.
On Sunday, my loving Grandpa passed away. What a sad moment for our family, but in a lot of ways, a joyful time. This means that Grandpa is no longer suffering and is in a better place........I have so many memories of my time with him. I remember all the camping and fishing trips he would take us grandkids on. Those were always fun. All the long walks he loved going on in the early morning. I rember when I would come over to visit, he was always working in his yard. His yard was and still is beautiful. I remember the time my family drove across country from New Jersey and Grandpa flew out to drive back with us. That was a very memorable trip. My mom and I joke that he is the ultimate scrapbooker because he had put together a photo album of each of his children. I will miss him, but I know that he know's how much I love him.

Things to Think About
"Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions."
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
"All that we are is a result of what we have thought."
Buddha (563 BCE-483 BCE)
"Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step."
Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968)
Football Fever
As you can tell, we have serious football fever. The only cure for that is, a camp chair, a bottle of water, a camera with plenty of batteries, and your loudest cheering voice. Today Braden had his first home game at Grantsville High School. They played Bountiful and won. Grantsville Cowboy's are now 3-0. Although the drive was quite long, it was for sure worth it. Especially when your nephew get's a fumble recovery. Anything is worth seeing that big grin. That's our Braden, #62.

Dixie's Haircut
So, we decided to take Dixie to the groomers to get a trim. I don't know if the groomers were high or what, but Dixie did not come back with the best look. Instead of a trim, they shaved her completely and left the fur on her face. Jon said he was laughing to hard, he could hardly pay the groomers. I'm surprised her paid for it at all. Oh, well.
Pretty pathetic, huh? I cried and Jon kept laughing. Oh well. They say the thing between a good haricut and a bad haircut is 2 weeks. For Dixie, it will be 4 weeks.

Football Fun
Fall is almost here and football season has already begun. Which means, Braden has started playing football again. It's been so much fun watching and cheering for our number one player, #62. We've even seen him tackle some kids to the ground. He is pretty awesome. So far, his team has played Alta and Highland and have won both games. Go Grantsville Cowboy's!!!
