Homework and Dixie

We have a very jealous dog. If we are doing something and not paying attention to her, she will do whatever she can to let us know she wants our attention. For example, if I am sitting on the couch cross stitching, she will get in my lap and not move. Even if Jon tries to get her to play with him. Here is another example:

That's right.....Jon is on his laptop doing his homework and Dixie decided she needed his attention too. And believe me, it's not easy to work on a computer when you have a 5 lb yorkie in your way. Not sure how things will be when we have kids. That should be pretty interesting.

Spring has Sprung

Even though it is still technically February, the weather has been unusually warm for part of the month. So some of our flowers have started coming up. This last week or so, we noticed our crocuses have started to bloom. These are just a few of them, but we have at least 20 or so out there. And they look so cute! I can't wait for the tulips and daffodils.

Laundry and Dixie

Whenever I take a load of clothes out of the dryer, I put them on my bed and then I go back to reload the washer and dryer. When I come back, this is what I find......

Dixie snuggles into the pile of clothes and makes her self comfortable. She will keep laying there as I am folding the laundry and grabbing piece's out from under her. Then she acts annoyed when her warm place is gone. For some reason, she thinks she is queen of the house.
